Mohan Singh Bisht (; born 2 June 1957) is an Indian politician from Delhi, belonging to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was a Member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly from Karawal Nagar Vidhan Sabha constituency. He had never lost an election to the Vidhan Sabha, being elected successively in 1998, 2003 and 2008, 2013 with the margin of victory increasing each time. But he ended up losing in the Delhi Legislative Assembly election, 2015 by over 44,000 votes to Kapil Mishra of the Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party which went on to win 67 seats out of 70 seats and form the government. ==Early life== Bisht was born on 2 June 1957 to Khushal Singh Bisht and Hira Devi at Ajoli village, Almora district, Uttrakhand.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=List of Members – Mohan Singh Bisht )〕 He was attracted to politics at a young age, as he enjoyed seeing politicians visit his village in an effort to garner votes.〔
